Research in the Chee Lab
Welcome to the Molecular Cotton Breeding Lab. We conduct research on the genetic improvement of cotton focusing on the utilization of classical breeding techniques as well as new DNA markers and gene transformation technology to develop improved cotton germplasm. We are part of the Crop and Soil Sciences Department at the University of Georgia and located at the UGA Tifton Campus.
